EDG Community Update: Dec 20th - Jan 2nd 2022

Highlights

• A referendum was proposed to fund Kabocha’s Technical Stewardship from the on-chain treasury.
• Rosetta-API integration is now production-ready.
• The waitlist is now open for Kabocha, the Kusama parachain candidate from the Edgeware ecosystem.
• All validators are requested to upgrade their nodes to the release v3.3.3 to proceed further with the ERUP4/Wako upgrade through the on-chain governance. The core community dev Ramsey recently shared the docker image for v3.3.3 aka ERUP4/Wako upgrade to save the compiling hustle for node/validator owners.

• Ecosystem contributor Junte added Atomic Swap’s pallet in the upcoming ERUP5 upgrade, opening up the way to swap between $EDG, $KLP and $Neat.
• Community Treasury-funded Web3 Media platform, New-Futures have opened up pre-registrations for their highly anticipated upcoming launch.
