Feb 2022 - April 2022
- Edgeware became Rosetta-ready.
- The first-ever beginner-friendly technical cohort series was introduced for new developers in the ecosystem and was successfully concluded with 6 sessions.
- Edgeware solochain achieved the milestone of 10,000,000 blocks!
- The public release of Edgeware's Ledger app developed by Zondax and audited by LedgerHQ went live on Ledger Live.
- 4thPillarTech's 4-in-1 multi-chain staging solution went live on the Beresheet testnet.
- Kabocha Soupcan testnet went live on the Pop-Art relay chain.
- Depth Hoar developed the Delegation Interface for EdgeApps.
- 4thPillarTech's dMail, a new privacy-oriented service is the latest addition to their existing suite live on EdgeWASM.
- OnFinality launched 'Lightning Restore', their latest tool that cuts down the Edgeware node deployment time from hours to a few minutes in their latest release 23.
- Thom Ivy proposed the 2022 Community Roadmap.
- Binance distributed the signalling lockdrop participation's corresponding $EDG to their users.
- The Edgeware Ecosystem page powered by CoinGecko went live.
- EdgeFrenz NFP DAO launched the PizzaDrop campaign on 14th April.
- The new framework draft 'Solo Contributors' Union (SCU)' shaped up for contributors' incentives as the agency got decentralised.
- The Kabocha Crowdloan went live.
- Edgscan aka Edgeware EVM explorer by Bharathcoorg got the token whitelisting/blacklisting functionality.

May 2022 - July 2022
- Nathan | Erudyx along with Ramsey (Decentration) built the pallet_mint, opening up the way for treasury proposals to mint native tokens (KAB).
- The Kabocha project 'AUTOFABRICA' was introduced.
- Kabocha's new teaser released.
- More custom pallet development emerged through Kabocha aiming for nested on-chain governance fulfilling the 'Layer 0 DAO' vision of the Edgeware ecosystem.
- Neatcoin announced the NEAT airdrop for EdgeFrenZ PizzaDrop participants.
- Kabocha's investment deck went out!
- Edgeware's Community-treasury funded parachain Kabocha won the Kusama auction #38. Community member PJS summarised the whole journey in the 'Subversive Metaversing' article.
- Neatcoin announced the NEAT airdrop for Kabocha's crowdloan participants who locked 5 $KSM or more.
- The official release of Pallet Supersig went public.
- The snapshot for the Kabocha's KAB ParaDrop to EDG holders was taken on 17th June {at block #12186935}.
- Kabocha Launch Phases' plan and tokenomics summary were released.
- Bharathcoorg released Edgeverse Wallet supporting Edgeware solochain, Beresheet testnet, Kabocha parachain, Soupcan testnet and Pop-Art relaychain testnet.
- Website v3 went live!
- Decent Partners shared a legal assessment of 'Exchange B'.
- Dwellir boarded Edgeverse as the new RPC infrastructure provider.

Aug 2022 - Oct 2022
- Kucoin Trading Competition, a series of 3 campaigns got approved by the community and was kicked off on 30th August.
- Bharathcoorg released the Edgeverse wallet extension on Firefox.
- Depth Hoar introduced SimpleUI on EdgeApps.
- JelliedOwl added the Geo-awareness feature to their load-balanced RPC infrastructure.
- A new testnet Beresheet v4 got launched (based on v4.0.x).
- SleepLess Collective by dave.sama did an amalgamation of music with Edgeverse via their 'Edgeware Radio' initiative.
- GMI Crypto Media podcast funded by Edgeware's Community Treasury got published.
- Community validators KDPnetstake determined a critical bug in the node client of the v4.0.0 pre-release on the testnet. With the inclusion of the fix developed by Parity and back-ported by Remz, v4.0.1 went out along with the new Beresheet testnet.
- Community validator KDPnetstake found one more bug on the Beresheet v4.0.1 testnet which got fixed in the new v4.0.2 release and further proposed on the mainnet as the Referendum #123.
- The Escrow Dapp by Adam (Depth Hoar) went live on the Beresheet testnet.

Nov 2022 - Feb 2023
- The first crucial stage of the v4.0.2 runtime upgrade aka 'The Merge' had been successful.
- Bitstack onboarded to the Edgeverse, offering private RPC endpoints, including a free tier of 150k private API requests per day.
- DaveSama and Decent Partners proposed a new ecosystem project: OpenGov X
- Bharathcoorg proposed the development of basic tools for EdgeEVM (aka Evolution of EdgeEVM 2.0 roadmap).
- The Switch aka change to newer consensus standards (node client-level upgrade) occurred successfully concluding the two-stage v4.0.2 Upgrade.
- Frogman introduced a brand new portal for the Community Calls' recordings.
- New early-stage ecosystem project W3Pass made it to the Edgeverse through the ETHIndia hackathon.
- Kabocha's Referendum #0 launched the on-chain democracy and enabled transfers.
- Edgeverse AMM DEX by Bharathcoorg went live on EdgeEVM. Thus, EDGizens can bridge BUSD and EDG across EdgeEVM and BSC. One can also add liquidity to the bridge and the EDG/BUSD trading pair to earn transaction/trading fees.
- The new ecosystem project Console.xyz opened up their testing phase for the Edgeware community.
- Edgeware is now available on the Nova Wallet Metadata Portal opening up a way to use the Parity Signer account in the Nova wallet.
- Filip Kalebo introduced a new ecosystem project, 'Privhost' featuring a public yet privacy-preserving infrastructure.
- EnKrypt added support for Edgeware in their extension-based wallet (including the EdgeEVM environment).
- 2023 Technical Scope was proposed.
Governance
Highest voted Referendum: #140 (442285493.67 EDG, ~6% of the total supply, got rejected as the 330,012,967.31 EDGs were voted as Nay)
Newly Proposed Chain Frameworks: 6 {Chain Frameworks are nothing but a set of proposed standards for better operational efficiency of the DAO.}
Total number of solo/team contributors: 25+ {who contributed at least once across the 3rd year of mainnet.}
Network Upgrades
- v3.5.1: The upgrade was also known as ERUP5 which got rejected by the community in the pre-governance discussions due to the lack of tests.
- v4.0.0: Developed by Remz with cherry-picked commits from ERUP4 (developed by Drew & Raymond) and ERUP5 (developed by Filip). Community validator KDPnetstake found a critical signature synchronisation error issue in this release while testing on the Beresheet testnet due to the transition from the legacy substrate v2 directly to the substrate v4. Parity developer Bastian Köcher developed a Compatibility Mode for the same and Remz backported it to the v4.0.1 release.
- v4.0.1: KDPnetstake found a staking election bug while yet another testing on the Beresheet testnet which was fixed by Remz in the v4.0.2 release.
- v4.0.2: This is the release that made it on-chain as a democracy referendum which got approved by the community and merged to the mainnet.
